Today, I wanted brunch. So, my roommate and I set out in search of a downtown Newark (Broad Street, to be exact) meal-tastic experience. We decided to forgo our usual Dunkin’ Donuts option in favor of a more “historical” or as I like to think of it “happier times” brunch experience. The best we came up with? Hobby’s. The socially conscious, non-Jewish, Jewish diner. Stomach aches and calorie consumption aside, the experience was deliciously Jersey.
